
Jonas Wesetrud Hansen
Jonas Wesetrud Hansen (born 1996) is a Norwegian vocalist, producer, and songwriter from Tjøme, best known as the frontman of the metalcore band Fixation.
As the band’s vocalist, songwriter, and creative front figure, Hansen has been central to Fixation’s rapid rise within the Scandinavian alternative and metal scene. Together with the band, he won the 2024 Norwegian Music Publishers Award for Breakthrough of the Year and was nominated in the category Pop Song of the Year for the song “Ignore the Disarray”.
Alongside Fixation’s growing international presence, Hansen has contributed to a new generation of Norwegian alternative music through a combination of emotionally driven songwriting, modern metal production, and energetic live performances.
In 2025, Hansen participated in NRK’s music competition Stjernekamp. During the season premiere on March 15, he performed “Drown” by Bring Me the Horizon and advanced to the next round. He ultimately finished in fifth place, leaving the competition after performing his interpretation of Louis Armstrong’s “What a Wonderful World”.
