Agnete Kjølsrud

Agnete Maria Forfang Kjølsrud (born 1976) is a Norwegian vocalist and songwriter, best known as the frontwoman and lyricist of the hard rock band Djerv. She was previously the vocalist of the critically acclaimed alternative rock band Animal Alpha.

Known for her distinctive vocal style and theatrical performances, Kjølsrud has collaborated with a wide range of artists across the Norwegian rock and metal scene, including Dimmu Borgir, Kampfar, El Caco, Black Debbath, and Solefald. In 2010, she co-wrote and performed her vocal parts on the song “Gateways” with Dimmu Borgir. In 2023, Kjølsrud and Djerv collaborated with Gåte on the song “Svarteboka”.

Internationally, she is widely recognized as the vocalist behind “Get Jinxed”, the official song for the League of Legends character Jinx, released by Riot Games in 2013. The track became a global success, surpassing 120 million views on YouTube and more than 100 million streams on Spotify.

Together with Djerv, Kjølsrud has become increasingly involved in international game and television music, contributing both as a vocalist and songwriter. She performed and co-wrote the title track for the game Goddess of Victory: Nikke and the song “Rebel Heart” for Netflix’s Arcane Season 2, based on the League of Legends universe. Following the release of Arcane Season 2, the series debuted at number one globally on Netflix, while music connected to the Arcane and League of Legends universe reaches more than 33 million monthly listeners on Spotify.

For the use of “Rebel Heart” in Arcane, Kjølsrud, together with Erlend Gjerde and Martin Stenstad Selen of Djerv, was nominated for the 2025 Norwegian Music Publishers Award in the category Sync of the Year. Following the international success of the Arcane soundtrack, Djerv was also nominated for International Success of the Year at the 2025 Norwegian Grammys.
