Fixation broke through with their debut EP Global Suicide in 2020 and cemented their rise with debut album More Subtle Than Death in 2023. Known for their explosive live shows, they have performed at major festivals including Download Festival, Summer Breeze Open Air, and Tuska Festival. In 2024, they won Breakthrough Artist of the Year at the Norwegian Publishing Awards, becoming the first metal band to receive the honor. Their momentum continued with the release of the mini album Speak in Tongues in 2025, further establishing them as one of Norway’s most exciting heavy acts.
